Privacy Policy

1. Controller

The controller of personal data processed via this website is E-KMC.EU Prosta Spółka Akcyjna, ul. Wiolinowa 23, 80-298 Gdańsk, Poland, KRS 0001011332, NIP 5842828908 (“we”). Contact: office@e-kmc.eu.

2. What we process and why

  • Contact form / e-mail: name, e-mail, organisation, role, country, preferred language, topic, timeline and the content of your message — to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, take steps prior to entering an engagement (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in handling correspondence).
  • Newsletter: e-mail address and subscription metadata — based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), confirmed by double opt-in. Consent can be withdrawn at any time via the unsubscribe link.
  • Server logs: IP address, request time and technical data processed by our hosting provider for security and stability (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Providing data is voluntary; without it we simply cannot answer or subscribe you. We do not use the data for automated decision-making producing legal effects, and we do not sell it.

3. Recipients

Data is processed on servers of our hosting provider (home.pl S.A., Poland) and, for the newsletter, within our self-hosted mailing system. We may disclose data to professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it. We do not transfer your data outside the EEA in connection with this website.

4. Retention

Enquiry correspondence — up to 24 months after the exchange ends, unless an engagement follows (then per engagement records). Newsletter data — until you unsubscribe. Server logs — per the hosting provider’s retention cycle.

5. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and object to processing based on legitimate interest; where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting prior processing. Write to office@e-kmc.eu. You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Data Protection Office (PUODO, ul. Stawki 2, Warsaw) or your local supervisory authority.

6. Security

The site is served over TLS; access to data is limited to authorised persons; we apply minimisation — the form asks only for what the enquiry needs. Please do not send special categories of data or details of suspicious transactions before we confirm an engagement.
